Lessons From Lanvin, perfect timing actually. I’ve been thinking a lot about my personal style is and what it means, and I couldn’t have rediscovered this article at a better time.
.) Be true to thyself, whatever that means to you personally.
.) Comfort = true style and true inner comfort. Confidence.
.) Stop shopping for endless crap, but pause for the once-in-a-lifetime gems.
.) Figure flattery matters.
.) Easy one! If you can’t walk, how can you go out and live your life?
.) Stop trying to look like a teenager. Dress your age, maybe +/- a couple years.
.) I’m a cool girl, personality AND colorwise. Ha. :) I mostly wear greens, blues, grays, purples, blacks, silvers. Sometimes I throw on a pop of warm color for contrast (red, yellow, pink, gold), but for the most part I chill on the cool side of the colorwheel.
.) Classic bag: Oversize Oak Mulberry Alexa. Seriously. But now to stop shopping so much every season..
Thank you, Alber! I will keep these lessons learned handy for (what I’m sure will be!) frequent reference. Gotta love Lanvin. :)
